It’s our pleasure to host a select number of dinner parties, rehearsal dinners, intimate events and small weddings at the property each year. Picture gathering with beloved family and friends beside the ivy-covered stone house, enjoying canapés around the saltwater pool and late-night toasts by the fire.
We’d love to help plan your celebration with the help of our local vendors and community of talent purveyors who can provide the likes of grazing tables filled with local produce, bountiful flowers from nearby farms, and goody bags of handcrafted, custom goods. Let your imagination run wild.

If you’re celebrating your wedding at a venue in Litchfield County, we’d love to host you at Argyll for your wedding weekend and take extra care of you.
Make the most of your time in the country with long afternoons by the saltwater pool, wandering our private walking trails, and evenings gathered around the fire. We can help curate your stay with chef-prepared meals, local provisions stocked in the kitchen, nourishing massages, herbal baths, gentle yoga sessions, and other special touches.
Settle into a wedding weekend that feels as much like a restorative getaway as it does a celebration. A place to slow down, reconnect with yourself and your partner, and savor a little space amidst the excitement of it all.

~ Essential Herbs is our beloved catering partner for weddings on the property. We’ll connect you with Chef Russell in the early stages of planning.
~ We ask that all couples work with a wedding planner, even if it's for partial planning. We’re happy to recommend our favorite local planners.
~ All events require a tent. We have wonderful recommendations for tent companies, photographers, florists, local inns, invitation & menu designers, and more!
~ Argyll House is a private home rather than a traditional wedding venue, so there’s a bit more coordination & rental logistics involved in bringing a celebration here. Your planner will help guide you through all of it.
~ We’re currently booking weddings about a year out. If you’re thinking about 2028, please reconnect with us closer to the date.
