Queen bed on the top floor, shared bathroom with original tub

Tucked on the top floor, the Beatrice is named after our sister, the one who summons patterns and color in all parts of life. The sunlit room carries the spirit of playful pasts and embodied warmth. The delicate block-printed wallpaper (a happy inheritance from the home’s previous owner) wraps the room in a soft pattern, juxtaposed by the mischievous monkey print from Zak & Fox that outfits the windows, adding a sense of whimsy to the feminine space.

A small writing desk from our mom sits by the window. Paired with a chair from our Grandma, the room is a little lineage of women gathered in one cozy nook. Nestle in, open the window to the treetops, and experience what it’s like to be at the top of the castle.
