The Deirdre
Queen bed on the top floor, shared bathroom with original tub
The Deirdre, named for the eldest sister, is where imagination runs wild. Perched on the top floor, a feminine yet moody palette is paired with delightful details that bring a textured energy to the room. The grand casement windows face East, allowing in the gentle glow of morning light, inviting you to wake with the birds and the sun.
With views of the tennis courts across the street, The Deirdre is deeply in tune with the community, watching neighbors walk dogs and keeping an eye on the driveway as people come and go. A more modern take on country than the other rooms, the Scandinavian furnishings are layered over the floral wallpaper, a comforting contrast between new beginnings and old traditions. The Matilda Goad lampshades, Ilse Crawford nightstands, and a flowery oil painting hanging above the bed evoke a calming garden feel, mimicking the lush Argyll grounds.
